On June 11, representatives from the Scinet Institute for Technology, Research, Development, and Innovation, along with Netcon Americas Brazil, made an institutional visit to the Pernambuco Technological Park (Parqtel), which is linked to the Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation of the State of Pernambuco (SECTI/PE). This initiative marks another strategic step in expanding the innovative projects of both organizations within the state.
As a reference in fostering collaboration between science, technology, and entrepreneurship, Parqtel stands out as a catalyst for the so-called “triple helix” model — the integration of the public, private, and academic sectors. This approach strengthens the local innovation ecosystem, drives the modernization of the production base, increases industrial competitiveness, and promotes regional socioeconomic development.
During the visit, Scinet and Netcon Americas representatives were welcomed by Rogério Pontes de Araújo, General Manager of Parqtel, and Petrus Cândido de Lorena, Manager of the Advanced Manufacturing Laboratories. The delegation had the opportunity to explore the park’s laboratory infrastructure and discuss cutting-edge technology projects currently being developed by the Scinet Institute with applications in the industrial sector.
The visit reaffirms the Scinet Institute’s commitment to building bridges between science, technology, and industry, contributing to the development of innovative, sustainable, and competitive solutions.
The Institute extends its appreciation to the Parqtel and SECTI/PE teams for their warm reception and expresses optimism for strengthening partnerships and future joint initiatives focused on innovation and technological advancement in the state of Pernambuco.
